According to Media Post: Email Marketing daily, 45% of Marketers use for Customer Service Communications: Lionbridge Technologies.
Marketing via email allows companies to engage with their customers and communicate product news. They also state that, "The 2014 Global Email Survey also revealed that more than 45 percent of marketers use emails for customer service communications and 58 percent use email to share thought leadership research."
